Network rules
These rules apply everywhere on the network: the lobby, Practice, Bunkers, Objectives, tournaments, the PvPBay Discord and this website. Staff enforce them, and not knowing a rule is not a defence.

Fair play
Cheating is the most serious offence on the network, and the only one that starts at a permanent ban.
- No cheating
- No hacked clients and no modification that plays any part of the game for you: reach, aim assistance, auto-clickers, kill aura, fast place, x-ray. This includes anything that tampers with your connection for an advantage, such as a lag switch, a ping spoofer or a disabler.
- Clicking
- Jitter, butterfly and drag clicking are allowed. Anything that adds clicks you did not make is not: click macros, double-click mice and modified debounce times. Most modes also cap clicks per second, and clicks above the cap do not count.
- No exploiting
- If you find a bug that gives you an advantage, report it with a ticket instead of using it. Using one repeatedly is treated as cheating.
- No boosting
- Do not arrange the outcome of a match. Queue sniping to farm a friend, throwing a ranked game and splitting wins to climb a ladder all count as boosting. Elo gained this way is removed along with the punishment.
- No smurfing
- Do not use a second account to play ranked against players below your level. The second account is punished together with your main one.
- No combat logging
- Do not disconnect, leave or go AFK to avoid losing a fight or a match. Doing it repeatedly is punished.
- No interfering
- No teaming in free-for-all modes, no blocking a spawn, and no griefing a match you are not in.
Queues and team matches
- Show up
- When a queue pops and you are called in, join the match. Accepting a call-in and not showing up holds everybody else up.
- Play the match out
- Do not leave, go AFK or stop trying on purpose because the draft or the score did not go your way.
- Voice follows the chat rules
- Team voice channels are covered by the conduct rules below, both for what you say and for anything you play or stream into the channel.
Cooldown for a no-show or a leave
Objectives and HCF PUGs- 1st15 min
- 2nd30 min
- 3rd1 hour
- Each after1 day
Counted over the last 24 hours.
What your client may do
A mod may change how the game looks to you. It may not act for you, and it may not show you anything the game hides from you.
Allowed
- Performance mods
- A minimap with no entity or player radar
- Keystrokes
- A crosshair or hit-marker overlay
- Toggle sprint and toggle sneak
- Cosmetics
- Any resource pack that does not reveal hidden blocks or players
Not allowed
- Anything that clicks, aims, moves or places for you
- Anything that reveals hidden players or hidden blocks (x-ray packs included)
- Any macro that turns a sequence of actions into one key
- When in doubt, ask first
- Not sure about a mod? Open a ticket naming it before you use it. Approval given in advance stands. Asking after a punishment goes through the appeal process.
Chat and conduct
- No harassment
- No slurs, hate speech, sexual content or threats, and do not follow a player around to drive them off the server. Trash talk about a fight is fine. Insults aimed at who somebody is are not.
- No doxxing
- Do not post another person’s real name, address, photos, account details or any other information about them that they have not made public themselves.
- No spam and no advertising
- No repeated messages, no flooding, and no links to other servers or to stores that are not ours.
- Do not impersonate
- Do not claim to be staff, do not claim to speak for the network, and do not pretend to be another player.
- Names and skins
- Usernames, skins, capes and any name you choose on the network follow the same rules as chat. An offensive one is punished and has to be changed.
Your account
- One person per account
- Do not share, sell or trade your account. Everything done on it is treated as done by you, including by somebody you lent it to.
- No ban evasion
- Joining on another account while banned extends the original ban, and the other account is banned with it.
- Website access
- Do not try to access parts of this site that are not yours, automate it beyond normal browsing, or probe it for weaknesses. If you find a hole, report it with a ticket.
How this is enforced
Staff issue warnings, kicks, mutes and bans. The length depends on the offence and on your record.
Cheating is a permanent ban from the first offence, and it can be appealed like any other ban. The most serious cases end in a blacklist, which cannot be appealed.
Punishments are shown on your public profile. When some entries are hidden from the person viewing it, the profile shows how many.
Reporting and appealing
Type /ticket in game to report a player or a member of staff, appeal a punishment, report a bug or ask a question. It gives you a link to the form already signed in as you, so you can still appeal while banned.
Bring evidence. A clip is worth more than a description, and a report without evidence usually goes nowhere.
