Who we are, and who we are not

PvPBay is an independently run Minecraft network and this website. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Mojang Studios or Microsoft in any way, and nothing here is an official Minecraft service.

You need your own legitimate Minecraft account to play. Ours is a game service: you are responsible for meeting the age requirements of the platforms you reach it through.

Your account

A website account is created the first time you log in here, and it is keyed to your Minecraft account. There is no email address anywhere in this system: you set a password through a single-use code that /register in game gives you, and you recover one the same way with /resetpassword.

That means the only route back into a website account is through the Minecraft account it belongs to. Keep that account secure, keep your password to yourself, and log out of any device that is not yours.

Acceptable use

The network rules are part of these terms, and breaking one is breaking both. They cover cheating, conduct, accounts and enforcement, and they are the document a staff decision is actually made under.

Ranks and purchases

Ranks and other items are listed on this site and sold by Tebex Limited, the reseller and merchant of record: it takes the payment on its own checkout, under its own terms, and answers billing and order questions. This website never sees a card number.

What you buy is a licence to use a cosmetic or a feature on our network while it and your account exist. It is not property, it cannot be transferred or sold on, and it carries no cash value. A feature can change or be retired as the network changes.

Purchases are final except where the law says otherwise. Reversing a payment after the fact is not a refund route: it ends the account it was made on and blocks it from future purchases.

A punishment does not refund a purchase. Being banned for cheating with a rank on the account is not a reason to be given the money back.

The store

What you put here

You keep whatever rights you have in what you submit: your profile, the links on it, the resource packs you convert, and the text of your tickets. You give us permission to store it and to display it where it belongs on the network and on this site.

Do not submit anything you do not have the right to, and do not submit anything that would break the rules if you said it in chat. We can remove content from a profile without removing the account it is on.

The service as it is

Everything here is provided as it is, with no guarantee of uptime, of your progress surviving, or of any mode continuing to exist. Servers restart, seasons reset, features are replaced, and statistics can be corrected or removed when they were produced by something that broke a rule.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of time, progress, purchases, data or opportunity arising from your use of the network or this site.

Ending it

You can stop at any time. We can suspend or terminate access where these terms or the network rules have been broken, and a decision of that kind is appealed through a ticket rather than argued in chat.

Changes to these terms

These terms change when the network changes. The date at the top of this page is the date of the current wording, and continuing to play after a change is acceptance of it.
